Happy Halloween! It's time for me to put away the scary stamps and get prepared for Thanksgiving and Christmas.
I haven't had much time lately to get into my craft room, but I did make a couple little mini toilet roll scrapbooks the other night. They are not completed yet, but I wanted to share a little something with you now and I'll post them when I do get them finished. I'd like to make a few of these for the craft show that we have in Chambers the first Saturday in December.
Notice the charms I had made are attached to the wire binding. I flatten toilet rolls for the pages and wrap them in decorative paper. The covers are made using double thickness of cereal box cardboard and then covered with decorative paper. Each toilet roll is a pocket so I will need to add tags in each. There are four pages to the book. My plan is to put inspirational quotes, Bible verses, etc. on the pages. Let me know, if you like the idea and think they might sell at a craft show. I'll see what I can do to get one finished.

Charms for Mini Scrapbook Albums
I finally did a little research to see how people made their own charms. After a little bit of time in Hobby Lobby, I picked up what I thought would get me started. Here are a couple pictures of my first homemade charms. I plan to attach these to the binding of mini scrapbooks so they will dangle with the ribbon that I tie around the binding.
Paige really liked the cowboy boots so I'm going to try and make her some earrings. The little hearts say "made with Love." Like I really need another hobby, but these are really fun to make and they will go along with my other hobbies ; )

Frankenstein Mini Milk Carton
Here is the second project we made at the Chambers stamp club. I posted the mini milk carton Frankenstein and mummy earlier, but this is the version we made on Monday.
We used the 3/4 in. punch for the eye lids, nose, and the white part of the eyes. The black part of the eye was using the circle punch from the three punches you can purchase together. The top is just attached with the ribbon so it can be easily opened to fill with goodies.

Wicked Cool
The ladies in the Chambers stamp club got together this afternoon. Here's the Halloween card they made.
I actually borrowed the stamp set, Wicked Cool, from Jennifer (thanks Jenny) so that I could have the ladies make a Halloween card. The spiderwebs in the corners are heat embossed using white embossing powder. Black staz-on was used for the bats on the left side, the text, and the candelabra. The text was stamped on a separate piece of white cardstock and then punched out using the decorative label punch. If you would like instructions, just email me and I can send you the directions that I provide to the stamp club ladies.
