These are the three cards that we made at Ferne's house this afternoon. There were seven ladies that seemed to enjoy making cards to fill their late afternoon. I had to bring the terrific tulip set out and dust it off to make the Sympathy card. I still love this set. I used Pearl Ex on the tulip's second layer. Really adds a nice shine.
Found this Easter bonnet idea from someone's blog. I made a pattern so that the card will fit into a 4 1/2" x 5 3/4" envelope. The flower once again is made out of layers of different sized circles. The hat brim opens up and is attached by the fold at the bottom of the card. This was my Easter card, but can be used for many occasions. I used two-way glue and some dazzling diamonds glitter on the edges of the flower layers.
The last card is pretty basic, but again could be used for just about any occasion.
I had a great time and can't wait to get together with the ladies again in about a month.
