Bridal shower gift

I've decided since the wedding is right after Thanksgiving, my bridal shower gift is going to be a small 3' Christmas tree. I'm going to provide the couple with all the trimmings for the tree. So to keep with the Christmas theme, I've made little fabric bags that I will stamp the countdown to Christmas on. I will put a little something in each bag so the couple can open a small gift each day until Christmas.
Stampin' Up has mini muslin bags on sale on page 36 in the Holiday catalog (132180) and they are worth the price 8/$9.95. I've spent many hours already on sewing the bags and haven't finished the stamping yet. I will share them with you when I'm finished.

Wedding door hanger

I've made a "do not disturb" sign that I will hang on the motel doors following the wedding . . .
Everyone that stays at the motel will have a little remembrance and picture of the couple.

I mentioned that I would share some wedding stuff with you since it has been taking up a great deal of my time. Here is the wedding invitation that I made for the kids . . .

The colors for the wedding are navy blue, champagne, and burlap.

Wedding card--file folder style

Hi everyone, it sure has been a while since I've been on my blog. Wedding plans are in full swing for my son, and even though I haven't been stamping as much, I have been working on projects for the wedding, while still trying to keep up with school work. We just finished the 1st quarter at school so grades are finished. Whew! I'll try to remember to take pictures of projects that I'm making for the wedding.

I attended a friend's wedding this weekend so needed a super fast wedding card. I believe I have shown you this card before, but this time I used the envelope maker to make the card into a file folder style. It's another use for the envelope maker besides just making envelopes.

The color isn't the best, but I used eggplant envy card stock. There are videos online that will demonstrate the file folder technique or I'd be glad to show you sometime. Have a great week!
