Chambers March Stamp Club

The Hello, Doily is stamped using Baja Breeze ink and the Field of Flowers and text are stamped using black staz-on. The first and second card are the same cards, but with a few added features on the second one. I colored the flowers using Not Quite Navy watercolor crayon and then blended the color with the aqua painters. I used a green watercolor pencil to color in the stem. In the upper, right hand corner I used the piercing tool to add a small design. Very simple, easy card.
Get the punches out to make the bunny backside. The feet are using the extra-large oval punch and the pink is using the large oval punch. The body is a 2 inch circle that I used the circles die and the Big Shot to cut out. The tail is using the Boho Blossom punch. There are two of the largest flower and one of the smallest flower. I sponged all the bunny parts with gray to help them stand out, especially in the sky area. I used a large sticky note to mask the top part of the card and sponged the green all over the bottom to create the grass area. After removing the sticky note, I used an old template that I had, made out of x-ray film to create the clouds. Be careful not to overlap the clouds. They just look better.
These are the two cards I am planning for the ladies to make at the Chambers stamp club this afternoon. Hope they like them.

Bunny Character

I needed a small container to put some goodies in for a hostess gift so I saw some neat ideas on Internet for making bunnies. Here's an idea of a bunny face that another demonstrator used as a topper for those clear 1 x 8 inch cellophane bags that are still available on the Holiday Mini carryover flyer. I decided to put the bunny face onto a mini milk carton die cut and then added the bunny back side too. I think he turned out pretty cute.

I used several different sized punches so if you are interested in how I made this little guy, just email me and I can give you more specifics.

I'm working on making crafts lately since I've committed to a craft show in Columbus on Saturday, March 31. I was pretty much wiped out of items to sell after the Christmas craft show so I need to continue to rebuild my inventory of all kinds of craft items. I'll try to post some of the items that I'll be making and selling at the craft show. As for card making, I'll be working on making more of the cards I already have as compared to coming up with new card ideas. So you might be seeing a few more craft ideas rather than cards. We'll see. Have a great day!
