Gorgeous Grunge

Have you seen the Gorgeous Grunge stamp set in the new catalog? I've been working on a few cards using the set and it makes a pretty awesome background.
Stampin' Up has a promotion going on. You can get the Papillion Potpourri stamp set and the Bitty Butterfly punch bundle at a 15% off discount. I already have both, but for some, it might be a bargain.

Looking forward to stamping in Burwell this coming Saturday!

Perfect Blend

I've been playing with a couple new stamp sets I purchased from the new catalog, Perfect Blend and the Gorgeous Grunge stamp set.  The rose is made from the clay molds.

A great card technique used for putting a gift card in the inside pocket.

Shoebox cards from Burwell

The first card was provided by Earla. Any sentiment could be added to this card. Thanks, Earla.
This card was provided by Stella. I love butterflies! Thanks, Stella.
This card was provided by Linda. Beautiful butterflies! Thanks, Linda.
This card was provided by Pat. Great technique of piecing paper to look like quilting. Once you got the hang of it, it was neat how it turned out. Thanks, Pat.
This card was provided by Nancy. I may have changed her design some, but the watermelon idea made out of circles was something I had forgotten about doing. Thanks, Nancy.
The last card was provided by Loretta. Wish you could have stayed to stamp with us. I'm glad you left your card for us all to make. I may have changed the design some too on this card. Another great masculine card. Thanks, Loretta.
As always, the day was great! I enjoy getting the chance to visit with friends and stamp in Burwell.

Burwell Stamp Club

It was my pleasure to be able to attend the Burwell Stamp Club a week ago and made a couple cards that Terri provided. The cut and dimension of the card was really easy, but looks great. What a great masculine card. Thanks, Terri, for the ideas.

The other card that Terri provided for the club members was using a masking technique. It looks like there are layers on this card, but it only has one layer.
I didn't put any sentiment in the middle so that way I can add it when I need a specific card. Next time I will share with you the other designs from the shoe box cards that some very talented ladies had available to make.
