Mini Scrapbook for Baby

Once again I needed to make a gift for a shower, only this time it was for a baby shower. A husband and wife, both fellow teachers, adopted a baby boy. As my gift, I decided to make a mini scrapbook. The shower was a success with many people attending and the couple received a whole lot of baby stuff. Hope they can enjoy the scrapbook.
The bottle pulls out of the pocket to reveal an accordion display for several pictures.
Doesn't everyone take a picture of their baby wearing sunglasses. They even received a pair of sunglasses as a shower gift.
The hands will open up as if to play peek-a-boo. A close-up picture of the baby's face will fit perfectly behind the hands.
The bubbles on the picture above are drops of hot glue from the glue gun. My glue gun is terrible and after seeing the puddles of glue that dribble out between use, had cooled, I thought they must be good for something so I saved them.  When I made the page, I thought about these pieces and it seemed to work as bubbles from the bath. Gotta think out-of-the-box.
Lots of places for journal tags and photos. Hope you enjoy seeing the scrapbooks.

  1. This is an amazing scrapbook. How long did it take you? I am going to have to share this with a friend. She is going to be an Aunt soon.
